Horribly rude provider. I left in tears. Won't return until she is terminated.

Ann Vanden Hauvel, NP was the provider for my wife who came in for a specific reason. Ann dismissed and minimized my wife's main concern, and instead chose to focus the entire visit on something that is pretty normal for my wife and pressured us to have her undergo extra diagnostic testing, including an X-ray, with no input from us. This cost us extra expense and didn't provide us with any useful information. We had to constantly redirect Ann back to the main reason my wife came in in the first place, but Ann had already signed out of the computer before my wife had even finished explaining what was going on.

Awful provider. I am surprised Aurora continues to employ such an incompetent provider. If I need to use Urgent Care I always call ahead, and if she is the one working I go to Prevea instead.

My low rating has to do with an appt. I had with her due to a cat bite. I had experienced bites from my cat(who is up to date with her shots) a few times prior, and have always gone to fast care due to same as I am aware that if the bite breaks the skin an antibiotic is needed, and the bites for me were simply small and shallow. . She sent the DePere police to my house shortly after I left Aurora FastCare due to the fact that my cat had bitten me before. The officer was invited to come in to our house and observe my cat. He shook his head, and stated he had never been sent to check on some one due to cat bites before. He took the name of my vet, and left, saying "have a good day".

Brought my son to the urgent care for a persistent cough. Ann was the nurse practitioner on. She came in listened to his chest checked his ears and seen on ear was red and diagnosed him with an ear infection. When the nurse came in with discharge papers I asked if it’s normal to have a persistent cough that causes vomiting with an ear infection. She told me it is not but if it is pneumonia the medicine would help. Ann didn’t even address the reason we came in. She was more worried about leaving for the day then she was with my sons symptoms.

I was just in Urgent Care for an acute uti. I also have interstitial cystitis. Ann used all of her weight and pressed very hard down on my bladder. I believe there's some damage. When a patient says they're very tender you palpate not use your whole body weight to press down. I'm traumatized
