Ann Bohls, LPC

I quit seeing Ann Bohls a couple years back because she snapped at our last appointment when I was incapable of achieving the goals she set for me. She spent the entire session giving me hypotheticals about how I’d become homeless and have to live on welfare if I didn’t get my anxiety in check, all while I sat shrank back into my chair and cried. She clearly knew how much she was distressing me, considering she ended the session by asking me if I could go home or if she needed to call the hospital to have me admitted to the psych ward, because she was aware I struggled with suicidal ideation. I never went back, and it took me suffering 2 years and hitting rock bottom again before I went back to therapy, because I wasn’t sure if I could trust a therapist again. She also missed the fact that I was suffering from CPTSD due to abuse in my childhood, even noted how I’m hyper vigilant and how that she had only seen it with abuse survivors. And then she just… moved on, ignored it.
