Anita Walker, LPC

My family counseling experience with Mrs. Walker was less than professional. My wife and I were having difficulties so we made an appointment with Mrs. Walker. She quickly sided with my wife and failed to address the problems we were having. I believe her counseling further strengthened the victim mentality my wife was exhibiting, i.e. blaming everyone but herself for the problems we were experiencing. Mrs. Walker scolded me a literally made the statement “the damage is done”, directed toward me. I believe she dislikes men. It does take two to tango, so yes some my fault some hers. Mrs. Walker failed us miserably and this led to a split in relationships we have with our children. The decision to see her for counseling has negatively impacted the future for all of us. I would not recommend Anita Walker, primarily due to a high degree of unprofessional behavior.
