This doctor did nothing but the bare minimum to provide care and figure out what was wrong. Will not come here again.

If I could leave a zero I would. Terribly rude to my very sick mother and was an absolute terror of a provider. I can’t BELIEVE that anyone would hire such an unprofessional person. I hope that she receives her just rewards from her appalling behavior!

For a place that is a certified stroke center by joint commission. Anita Hoyt dropped the ball on recognizing worsening deficits that were disabling and instead of listening to family concerns. She got very defensive and very dismissive. She is in serious need of updated acute stroke education and also needs an attitude adjustment as we weren't being rude we were just concerned. If you think your loved one is having an acute stroke, go to a different stroke center if you want to get appropriate standard of care. Would not recommend!

Anita is incredibly rude and does not listen to the patient. I had a bacterial infection on my face and she tried to give me steroids, not antibiotics. She then laughed sarcastically at me when I told her I didn’t want a steroid treatment but prescribed me an antibiotic cream to appease me. The antibiotics of course worked. The next day I had to go back to the ER because my eyes were swollen and I was worried about a possible infection, and I specifically went to a different ER to avoid Anita’s terrible service. However, she was at this ER as well and I told her I wanted to be seen by only the doctor on duty, absolutely not her. She responded sarcastically “well you’re seeing me right now” but the nurse thankfully told us we would be seen by the doctor on duty. This woman does not deserve her license or position, she is mean-spirited and cruel and does not care about patients in the slightest.

Anita Hoyt PA is a disgusting excuse for a provider. Not only did she accuse me of "drug seeking," she made fun of my mental health and as though that was not enough she also altered and lied on the medical summary report (a permanent record). The actions this provider took disabled me from being able to seek care at another facility and has caused me to continue to be in pain until primary facilities open after the holidays. If this issue is not rectified I will be taking legal action.
