I started seeing Angela Matta weekly for approximately a year . I know that she is genuinely concerned about her patients/clients. We had a very awesome relationship from day one. She helped me through some very difficult and emotional times. I know that she’ll always be available when I need her in the future, and I’m certain that I will continue to see her. She is very spiritual, kind, and quite easy to talk to. She was highly recommend to me by a psychologist, and Angela has really made a very positive impact on my life. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a therapist..

I would recommend Angela as a therapist only to certain people. It's so important to build a trusting relationship with a counselor so that you're able to open up- and thankfully we were able to have that at first. I opened up in areas that I have never been able to before. Her knowledge of EMDR were incredibly helpful when the time came to deal with repressed emotions and trauma. I had been seeing her for a few months, and it was all good until I relapsed. After two weeks of my relapse getting worse, she implied that she might have to drop me as a client since "it's clear that she wasn't helping". Eventually I bounced back from the relapse (thanks to the support of my peers) but the trust was gone. I realized that she was willing to be there when the going was good; but if the going got rough again, that I wouldn't be able to rely on her. If you want a therapist that will stick by your side through this sort of situation, I would recommend finding someone else.

Angela Matta is amazing and I would highly recommend her to get through any form of ptsd. I suffered severely with past issues and took years to get through it, thanks to Angela I crossed major obstacles in my life I never thought possible.

Angela was very helpful in guiding me through my early alcohol addiction recovery and provided good resources and insights to help me get a good foundation for living after treatment sessions ended. I'm very grateful for Angela's assistance and professional help.

I was new to Billings and Angela Matta was suggested to me by another social worker to help me with my depression. She worked me as soon as she could. She was very professional and helpful. I feel like a new person. I would recommend her to anyone needing help with depression.

Angela has been my therapist for years, she is very easy to talk to and provides a relaxed but structured environment. She's very flexible with scheduling needs, makes fair payment plans and dedicates her full attention to her clients. Her Cognitive Behavioral Therapy has helped me immensely and she has a lot of techniques for the personalized care of her clients.

Extremely unprofessional! Didn't even remember why we were even there. My husband had seen her prior by himself and had us fill out new patient information which has already been done and the paperwork was about and individual not a couple. She asked for insurance when it was EAP. Then indicated she needed a diagnosis and asked about mental health issues and alcohol and said we will just use alcohol since you've had a DUI in the past when we were there for relationship counseling.
