Angela Calderon, PA-C

I only went back to this office due to having 8 years of amazing care. My original physician left this office so I was appointed to a new care giver. Angela doesn't have a pulse and talks over you. I have only had problems since I met with her. Duplicated referrals and no advice from her that initiated steps towards my better health. I sincerely believe it was because I went from self insured to state insurance recently. Either way, no excuses for the treatment I received. I have seen her approximately 4 times. I will not go back to her or Abrazo after my last experience. I really didn't want to go back to her after my first visit but due to insurance, I didn't have much of a choice. As far as Abrazo, I would think after being a patient in their office for as long as I was they would value me regardless of my insurance plan until I was on my own insurance again.

I was seeing another provider at this practice for 13 years prior to being referred to Angela by him. Very thorough and comfortable. Confident in her as a provider and look forward to continuing my care with their practice.

Patient, Professional and Kind are just three of many accolades for Angela Calderon. Whether an in office visit or tele-health, I have never felt rushed with my many medical questions and concerns. Angela is also wonderful in responding to portal questions as well. I would also like to recognize her assistant Alex, who has a wonderful and welcoming smile and kindness all around her. Angela has a heart of gold and is the true definition of medical professional.

Every single appointment for the past 17 years has been exceptionally outstanding and compassionate! Dr. Angela Calderon, why did you never tell me that you obtained two master's degrees? (1 in molecular and cellular biology and 1 in psychology). People you absolutely cannot go wrong when you select Dr. Angela Calderon as your PA. Dr. Calderon, thanks for always making time for me in your busy schedule! I wish all Doctor's were of your caliber! The world would be a better place for it :)

Angela seemed competent and thorough and kind. I liked her. There was an issue regarding “my on line” medical record which I was told to complete by the person who scheduled me and which took 90 minutes to do so on line. Padre called me the morning of my appt and said they couldn’t access that. I told him that was unacceptable and I wasn’t filling it out all over again on paper when I got there. He finally called me back & said he figured out a way to print it out but when I got there for my appt they wanted more “medical history” paperwork completed besides the HIPPA and insurance forms to be signed. It’s very confusing. They need to figure out which paperwork they want a patient to do. Thanks.

She was very thorough and didn’t rush through anything. She explained her plan, got my referrals all ready and her staff was very pleasant and professional.

Attentive, knowledgeable, thorough, kind. I switched to her from my former primary care physician, when I got pretty seriously ill and I got way better care. She and her assistant Pedro have personal follow up and good bedside manner. She is thorough and thinks outside the box; not dismissive or patronizing. It meant a lot to me -- plus it was the holidays, I was a little scared, and they were the only ones who cared enough to call me back.

The front end staff was very helpful and polite with assisting me when I arrived to check in for my scheduled appointment and Doctor Calderon did a great job with assisting me with my physical exam. She was very nice.
