Dr. Andrew Kumin, PSY.D

Dr Kumin was my psychologist 20+ year's ago and he saved me when No one else would. I wished that he would take my insurance and I would go back to see him.

I found Dr. Kumin to be ineffective and dangerous to my teen daughter and our family, causing her more pain and making her relationship with her father worse. I recommend finding a different therapist. He was expensive and his office was dirty and depressing.

This person was appointed by the Salem probate court as a GAL. The first day I met this doctor he looks suspicious. He gave me a poisonous look as he had my history records before even I met . He looks suspicious (especially his eyeglasses). Never felt comfortable talking to him . He required me to answer questions about my whole family ( more than 10 members!) . What their age , their martial status, whether they’re rich or no. He lied a lot When he submitted his report . None from what he said was true . He lied about my kids and tried to reflect bad pictures and behaviors about them . I am begging the authorities to investigate this person on all reports he had submitted about clients because I am very sure he had destroyed many families like me and this is very clear from the reviews. Person like this shouldn’t handle sensitive matters and he should be referred for mental facility to be evaluated!. In addition he never respond to his clients calls because he knows he is a big lier

Dr.Kumin has been a great therapist for my sanity recovery. When I first started visiting him, I was going thru the most difficult events of my life. Kumin helped me find my base line back, when I had trouble understanding why I went thru manic episodes. Today, I feel much more in peace with my inner self. That is owed in big part to Dr. Kumin.

Dr. Kumin was hired as a GAL. Never followed thru with his research, or returned phone calls. He left out many details in regards to his research. I feel that he was not interested in conducting the research. He was paid for 25 hours of work but only did 5. he was paid close to $5000 to research, conduct interviews with 8 individuals. and to follow up. He made 2 phone calls and had 2 interviews. Completely did not perform his job to everyone's expectations. He was also called into court to verify his findings - but cancelled at the last minute bc he was going on vacation. Later we found out he was not on vacation or out of town bc he still had scheduled clients that he met with. He was unprofessional and caused a number of family issues by not performing his job. I would highly recommend not using his services. He does have a nice toupee.

I found Dr. Kumin to be dangerous and destructive to my teen son. He did not comprehend the situation, and made my son's relationship with his father much worse.

He is my savior.

I've been seeing Dr. Kumin for many years. He helped me up when I was at my very lowest and has been a reliable positive force in my life through many low points since then.
