In June 2022 , I went to Forefront Dermatology in Jackson, MI for a check on a mole that was suspicious and was told it was an 'old age spot'. I disagreed with him and he insisted that what it was. No offer of biopsy. He was the second person who gave the same diagnosis . Then in June 2023 (year later) I went to another dermatologist in Chelsea (3rd one) and he agreed about the 'old age spot'. I insisted that it be removed and he did with 5 stitches. The day I had appointment to removed stitches I had stage 2 melanoma . If Mr Cattell taken a biopsy it would not turned into Stage 2 because it had a whole year to grow. I had major surgery with a lymph node removal and have another surgery for Jan 2024 at U of M. I could have died from it spreading because of 3 inept dermatologists in our area.

I have complete confidence and trust in Andrew. He diagnosed my problem and treated it quickly and skillfully. Anyone with skin concerns should not delay in having those concerns checked by someone as competent and caring as Andrew.

He was understanding and answered my questions

I appreciated the time given to me at my appt. It was not rushed and it was really perfect

He took is time and thoroughly explained everything to me. He was detail oriented and Cara was also super helpful and kind. I would for sure recommend Andrew to friends and family.

With this pandemic conditions, it seemed the office waiting area was a bit too full, at least during my visit. Granted, seats were conveniently spaced apart and extra chairs were available in the hallway. But it seems a bit too crowded for my comfort, with lots of people funneling in and out of one door.

He makes a patient feel like a number(unimportant), plus, he does not want to really listen and understand patients concerns.
