He is cruel. I'm not talking about tough love. I am not talking about pushing you to make progress. I am talking about cruelty, as in cussing you out in sessions. Unexpectedly demanding that your fee increase far beyond what he knows you can afford. Betraying your deepest secrets to other clients. And smirking and outright laughing in your face when you are trying desperately to be understood. Do not let his initial demeanor fool you. You may never recover.
