Dr. Andrea Camilli, PSY.D

We had a very disappointing experience with this therapist. After two visits with my children, then ages 5 and 8, she was a no show for a subsequent appointment. After calling, emailing and leaving a note at her office, I received no follow-up explanation or response. Please go elsewhere.

I saw Andrea for 3-4 years, one day I reached out about rescheduling an appointment and she never responded, I gave up after following up for several days and asking for referrals, after 4 months with no response I reached out seeking help and I managed to get a hold of her, I again asked for ya referrals and I never got any It’s heartbreaking to read that she has done this to other patients, and if you’re thinking of going to her I sincerely suggest you look elsewhere

I in a state of shock. The exact same thing happened to my daughter. Andrea gained her trust. My daughter, who suffers with abandonment issues due to her adoption, was then abandoned by Andrea. No reason, no call, no response to anything. We thought for sure she was dead after how close she had become to my daughter. My daughter refused to enter into therapy again, trusting no one. Within months, we were seeing self-injurious behavior, a general downturn. Her license needs to be revoked.

Dr Camili established rapport with my daughter, encouraged emotional dependence on her, and the abandoned her with no explanation. Dr. Camilli refused appointments and calls. She made no referrals. Her abandonment caused significant emotional damage,

Dr. Camilli has done an incredible job with helping my 10 year old cope with anxiety. She was able to make her feel safe, give her the tools she needed to work through her challenges and now only sees her when my daughter feels she needs extra encouragement which is rare. Dr. Camilli has also worked with me and my own challenges and has been nothing but professional, extremely knowledgeable, attentive and kind.I will continue my therapy with her and recommend her as an incredible therapist

After almost three years of therapy Andrea abruptly stopped treating my daughter. We were unable to communication with her. My daughter was severely hurt by her actions. We still don't know why she behaved in such an unprofessional and damaging way.

Andrea Camilli scheduled a session with me for the next day. She failed to call at the appointed time. After texting, calling and emailing her at least a dozen times. She has failed to contact me. Apparently, I am not the only one she has treated this way. Although her professional skills are strong, her total lack of respect for her clients is unprofessional and unsettling. I mean, you are seeing a therapist to help with psychological issues, and then she abandons you. Find someone else.

I was seeing this doctor for almost 2 years and she abruptly stopped our sessions. She disappeared off the face of the Earth with no explanation. I attempted to contact her by phone, text and email but she ignored all of my efforts. There was no attempt made on her part to provide me with an explanation or closure on the situation. This has made an indelible impression on me and I find it difficult to seek out and trust another professional. This has been a terribly traumatic ecperience.
