When a medical provider cannot separate their personal views from their professional duty of care we are in real trouble. I had been sick a week before coming in to see Ms. Hankins, I had read the earlier reviews on the costs incurred for Covid or Flu testing so when she stated she was going to give me that testing, I politely declined. I know enough to know that at that point in my illness, treatment for either one was out. I declined because it was unnecessary. Once I did that however, the practitioner became rude, she was making comments under her breath, I let her know about my history of pneumonia and that I was quite sure that this was headed in that direction. Instead, she chose to only treat the inflammation, when I inquired about antibiotics, she replied, 'well maybe you should have opted for the testing' I knew at that moment, I was not being treated objectively any longer. She was completely unprofessional. And now I have pneumonia.
