My experience with Amy was relatively positive at first, but quickly became very frustrating and I usually left appointments feeling worse than I did before coming in. When I wasn't making progress fast enough for her, appointments started to feel more like a scolding than therapy. She would get visibly exasperated and just made me feel worse about my situation. She lacked the patience and understanding that I feel is important in a therapist. Eventually I moved on because I realized I was dreading every appointment and would leave feeling very down about myself. When I was progressing according to her timeline things were fine, but at the first hiccup things started going south very quickly and never recovered. I'm still looking for a new therapist, but honestly my experience with her has soured me on therapy in general a bit. I would advise looking elsewhere for therapy if possible.
