Myofacial relief
Within the past several months, scar tissue left over from a ureter surgery fifty years ago, began to flare up beginning as dull pain with cresecendo into sharp debilitating pain. Amy was able to release the scar tissue. Skillfully she was able to loosen and unstick adhesions with surgeon like accuracy using her fingers. Apparently her last name means “little surgeon” which I can attest to her becoming.

Relief, at last!
I've been going to Amy since my foot surgery in 2014. She's helped with any issue that came up in that area and others. When I recently had leg, hip and back pain I knew who would help me strengthen my muscles to have me back to my healthy self. Amy share's her knowledge and also why she's doing her procedures and reasoning for her plan for you to do at home. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. At 72 it's extremely important to stay active.

Amy is amazing!
I am a nurse and was suffering from back pain that required an ambulance to the ER. After 2 PT sessions my back pain decreased by 80 % and I was able to clog again! I am 70 years old.

Dry Needling
I was not progressing in my healing from herniated discs in my neck. Tingling in my fingers, pain in my neck, shoulder, bicep and tricep. Limited strength and mobility. After just a few sessions with Dr. Amy, my progress was measurable. My pain subsided and my strength and mobility increased. Sleeping better now and able to resume all activities. I highly recommend Dr. Amy and the dry needling technique that she performs. There was no pain involved in the therapy, but noticeable relief! In case anyone is apprehensive, it is NOT acupuncture.

I spent ten PT session with Amy Chiriatti, an entirely helpful and rewarding experience. On the basis of her professionalism, knowledge, resourcefulness, and care she has earned your highest rating of five stars, and then some. Beginning with her assessment of my physical challenges, through the next nine meetings, Amy provided me with an effective range of exercises that built on the most basic therapy and successfully led to a solid group of maintenance exercises with which I am very pleased. In other words, the range of exercises have helped me overcome and adapt physically. Amy was entirely consistent during three months of PT. She takes her job very seriously, but nonetheless is a warm, responsive therapist, someone I found very easy to work with. In addition to all these qualities, and in a quiet way, Amy is a real motivator and enthusiast, which has helped and will help me to stay on the routines she established for me. For that I am very grateful to her.

I came to Advanced Physical Therapy for two issues: replacement hip and right shoulder. Amy was fabulous in both areas and helped me get more mobile. I would highly recommend her to anyone. I appreciated her patience and knowledge in helping me more forward.
