Ampili Umayamma, NP

I was just looking to make an appointment, and discovered she is no longer with the medical facility. I was instantly sad for myself, happy for her though. It is such a challenge to find good medical support in todays climate. Ampili is thorough, congenial, compassionate and very pleasant to work with. The staff of where she was ... not so much. Some have made critical errors in the notes and record that I am looking at right now, and are self-righteous and self serving. The medical professional in my opinion, requires a personality of empathy, some compassion, and concern for the patient, at least while on the clock!

Hello, I'd like to say that NP Ampili is the reason that I'm alive. I had been misdiagnosed for Pneumonia at the hospital and sent home She had me back at the hospital the next day and called the hospital to make sure they were doing their job and running the correct tests.They didn't know what to do with me, they called it unknown. I was transferred to St Joseph in Phx AZ, Where they found out the real problem with me (Pulmonary fibrosis). My lung transplant was 2 months after the transfer.

Ampili is wonderful! She is very thorough, she listens to what you have to say about your conditions and discusses your options for treatment. She takes the time to explain things to you and asks if you have any questions. Both my husband and I see her and we both think she is very professional but she also sincerely cares about her patients.
