Amber Golembeski, RN

I saw Amber for a brief (<5 min.) virtual visit. She was very short with me and did not show an ounce of friendliness. She was dismissive of my symptoms and did not look thoroughly into my chart, despite me having several notes from my PCP from that week regarding my current illness. She told me there was nothing she could prescribe me, even asking, 'Well, what do you want me to do for you? There's nothing I can prescribe without seeing you in person' when in fact my PCP had recorded a detailed assessment of me just days before. He had written that he wanted to start me on antibiotics if I wasn't better by the end of the week. Unfortunately it was the weekend and my PCP was out of the office, so I was hoping Amber could prescribe me something to alleviate me from this persistent illness. She then ended the visit by telling me to just wait and go to an urgent care the next day. I felt invalidated and spent the weekend in misery until my PCP was back in the office Monday morning.

I saw Doctor Golembeski this week at Prevea Urgent care for a health issue I am having that is causing me significant pain. Her knowledge on the issue surpassed that of other providers I have seen in the past. She was able to explain what is going on to me in a way that made sense to me. She is very personable and made me feel like the care I was receiving was centered around myself and my needs as a patient. I never once felt like another nameless, faceless patient. Top notch care!

Went to see Ms. Golembeski for what i thought was a tick bite ( classic bullseye pattern). She misdiagnosed and treated as either a fungus or ringworm, disregarding the background information and context provided. After 3 more weeks of not responding to medication and bullseye increasing in size, went to see different doctor who correctly diagnosed as likely insect bite and tested for Lyme disease, which came back positive.
