Scheduling the exam was easy and the exam was conducted on time. The entire staff is pleasant, helpful and professional. I am totally satisfied with Advanced Dermatology and whole heartedly recommend them.

I was shocked at the short wait time. I arrived approximately 10 minutes before my appointment to fill out electronic forms and was sitting in the exam room 15 minutes after I arrived. Amanda listened to my concerns and asked several follow-up questions to make sure she adequately responded. She expertly identified two areas of concern and performed biopsies, giving me peace of mind and reducing the stress of making another appointment. I was impressed by her knowledge and professionalism and the care demonstrated by her and the staff.

Wait time was 30min after appt time even though I arrived 15min early. Dr was great once I saw her.

Amanda and staff was very, courteous, polite and helpful. She listened my concerns and the treatment plan given is definitely working. I highly recommend Amanda!

My appointment was great.Dr Amanda is so nice and understood my concerns.

I was seen promptly. She diagnosed my issue very quickly and explained it to me in understandable terms. The visit was short but I didn’t feel rushed.

Check in was quick with the tablet. The visit was good and efficient. Since there is now a 3% charge for using a credit card, I had brought cash to pay for my copay. They did not have change. This is a new change in their operations and they are still working out the details.

Waited 20+ minutes (other reviews of this clinic confirm that this is common) only to be seen for the most rushed, abrupt appointment I have ever had with any healthcare provider. Less than 5 minutes, rushed diagnosis that doesn’t make any sense, and did not ask if I had any questions or concerns.

This visit was exactly what I had hoped it would be, and what I went into have taken care of was done very methodically with explanations throughout. Office staff was very friendly and got me checked in quickly. Amanda was so professional and has a great bedside manner. Very knowledgeable and very good at explaining what she’s doing. I am so happy to have found a dermatologist for my family & I. We will definitely be returning to Amanda at the office. Thank you!

I will never go back to that practice after two bad experiences (only returned for the 2nd time after several years because I didn't remember the practice's name and the appointment had already been made).

I felt rushed during the appointment even though the provider was running 30 minutes behind the appointment time.

She has a good personality and clearly told me the steps to follow after the first visit as well as what to use to protect my skin. When checking for abnormalities on the skin, she does it carefully, identifies the area and treat it right away. It seems that she feels the discomfort of the patient when applying the liquid nitrogen. When my wife asked her questions, she responded immediately and offered reasons why one treatment is good for one type of abnormality but not good for others. She demonstrated knowledge. The lady that was with Amanda, whose name is Caitlin, was very nice and friendly also. I hope she becomes a doctor in the near future.

I have been going to Amanda ever since I moved to Virginia. She is a kind and caring person and is concerned about your health. I did think waiting 30 minutes or more just to move from the office area to the examination area was a bit to much. Also waited in the examination area.
