They never showed me my xrays, which is common practice. They wouldn't treat me until I signed a contract and paid some up front. I found out later they never properly diagnosed my condition. Lesson: always get a second opinion from another practice. I wish I would have read these reviews before going there.

A couple of years ago Dr. Apfetblat helped me tremendously. I hadn't felt that good in years.

Stay away! This place only cares about money, not helping people! My first clue should have been when I watched several people walk in limping and walk out with the same limp. They charged me for a new patient "exam" fee, and bullied me into getting an X-ray that wasn't needed. The "exam" lasted just a few minutes. Then I was told they didn't learn much from the exam so they would feel more comfortable if they could just do an X-Ray. I was never shown the X-Ray after it was done. When it finally came time for the adjustment, they first wanted me to sign an agreement that I would pay for a minimum of 12 visits. When I refused to sign up for this program they refused service to me and still made me pay for the "exam" and X-Ray that I never saw. They would not give me copies of the X-Rays I just paid for unless I gave them another $20. Then they said they would send copies to my doctor, which they never did. This place is an absolute joke. Don't get scammed like I did!

Lousy experience---went there a few years ago for a pinched nerve in my shoulder and firstly, was coerced to purchase a treatment package, then was strung along for a few months with absolutely NO results, all the while being told to be patient because the problem I was having usually took time to go away. I was in crazy pain. Finally, after zero results, I decided to leave and go elsewhere. I went to a massage therapist not associated with Dr. Apfelblat and my pain was gone after an hour session. Buyer beware.

Don't give them your credit card they will overcharge you before you even get any visits . I had my bank cancel my credit card because they took out payments out without asking me. They said they will credit it to me . The next visit they want more money. Too many people nobody knows what's going on. Terribly disappointed. When I paid with cash it wasn't the billing statement. What really turned me off is I didn't want to come in after my 10-hour shift working and then come in the next morning.I was coming in four times a week for two weeks.They kept trying to schedule me for more and more appointments that I didn't what .It was a nightmare.

I have only been going to Michigan Chiropractic Specialists office for a short period of time, but have already noticed a difference in my migraines that I have suffered from for a long time. Dr. Apfelblat is very friendly and genuinely cares about her patients and wants them to find relief of any pain that they may be experiencing.

Too many different doctors treating me

The best chiropractor around! The staff is very friendly and greet you by name every time you enter the office. They are very efficient and the office is clean and relaxing. The doctors are all very knowledgeable and really care about your health. I have been going there for years and it is a great place!

My experience there was very good. Unfortunately, she is taking me to court for $100.00. I am confused by this as I never paid anything for my visits. They even waived my copay. The only reason that I stopped going is because I had to move far away. Then I get this random bill for $50.00. I figured that it must be some type of mistake for the above reason. Years later, I get as summons to court for $100.00 AND court costs. This has made me lose all respect. Beware of involvement.
