I took my child to Dr. Etnyre in the course of advocating for him in the public school system. I suspected that he was gifted but also struggling with ADHD. The combination of the two things was keeping educators from taking my claims about my child's abilities seriously, and my child was suffering due to the resulting lack of rigor in curriculum as well as skepticism about his giftedness. Dr. Etnyre evaluated him for giftedness and ADHD, in separate appointments, and then she provided me with a very detailed report explaining her findings. She listened to my concerns. She was careful with my child (he was only 7 when he saw her), and she was very thorough. Her report has bolstered my credibility in advocating for my child, and we have been much more successful in getting him what he needs to grow successfully in his education.

I have such admiration for Dr. ETNYRE. My daughter was not the easiest teenager to reach but Dr. Etnyre certainly did. My child still speaks highly of Dr. Etnyre's compassion but also her high expectations for my daughter. Amazing doctor!
