Dr. Allison Emmot, OD

My first eye exam was in Olathe and cost me 80.00. I relocated so went for new prescription for contacts at Walmart in Paola (closer to home). She used my previous script from my first doctor and tried to tell me my right eye was the close up eye. I told her no, the left eye is the close up eye. She gave me contacts to try and I couldn't see - everything was blurry. I kept arguing that the left eye was the close up eye. She looked at the previous script again and said oh you are right. She gave me a pair to try for a week. She charged 160.00 for the exam which was a sham. They told me they could get me contacts cheaper than what I had previously paid. I had been paying 113.00 for 6 mos supply. When I went back to order the contacts they told me it would be 260.00. I said no you said it would be 40.00. They told me I had misunderstood. I am a senior on a fixed income. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.
