I was connected with Dr. Fonseca through my EAP. When I called to schedule an appointment the person I talked to was extremely rude and curt - they were frustrated that I didn't have a case number, didn't understand how my partner transitioning would impact me as well, and repeatedly made comments about not having the right information from "him" (who that is I have no idea.) I immediately contacted my EAP, reported my experience and asked for a different counselor. If this is how your front-line person treats people who are trying to receive treatment, I can only imagine that the rest of the experience would be subpar as well.

Our first visit created very much unnecessary anxiety. The Director was cold, did not smile, no introductions, while holding the patients completed paperwork she referred to him as the adolescent. The staff appeared unsure, her communication towards them was course. The individual who spoke with our adolescent also did not bother to introduce herself to us or the adolescent. She was kind and professional and seemed to be genuinely interested is our issues and willingness to learning about how to best support our family unit. We only know her first name. However, she is not mentioned on any of the clinics paperwork or web pages. We are planning on continued visits and hope we can improve our review. Sadly at this time we felt the office was impersonal and more concerned with getting paid then helping our family through our struggles.

Dr. Fonseca is a truly caring human being. She helped my whole family, but especially me with getting disability and other services. The clinic offers a full array of psychiatric services and case management referrals.

Her receptionist didn't know what she was doing or how to handle patients coming in or out the office. This was my first visit so I arrived early, knowing I would be filling out paperwork. Waited 25 minutes before I was told that I needed a insurance card, anyone who deals with tri-care knows you don't need a card just the sponsors info, the doctor never came out to greet me or explain her policies to me. My overall experience was not good, I would not recommend her office to anyone I knew.
