Alicia Klapper, LCSW

Saw her about five times. She divulged information about a client she was with right before me, which I'm pretty sure is a confidentiality violation. She couldn't remember basic information about me. She asked me questions about my sexual preferences... And made me feel judged. I left my last session and had a breakdown, and my couples therapist basically said I had regressed in progress thanks to her. I luckily was seeing my other therapist at the time so I was able to compare my other therapist with her and see the very big contrast in professionalism and actual help/progress. Didn't help with coping methods or figuring out my thought processes and how to handle my anxiety and depression. Then after I stopped seeing her, she continued to text me about appointment confirmations when I assume she meant to text other clients. Bless my couple's therapist though who took me in for individual therapy as well. In two short sessions she's done more for me than Alicia ever did.

She is unprofessional and cannot remember basic info. But more importantly than that, she texts during sessions and always cuts a session off 10 minutes early which really bothers me considering I am not being billed for -10 minutes.

When my wife suggested that I see a female therapist I was hesitant but after sitting and talking with Alicia at the initial session I could not have felt more comfortable is very hard for me to open up about things but she makes it extremely easy to do so there is nothing I feel I cannot share with her that she never judges but just listens I am so thankful that I found

I felt drilled. She asked me questions I couldn't possibly answer and that had nothing to do with me. At the 2nd and 3rd visits she couldn't even recall the most basic information about me. I felt she didn't even care about why I was there. I left the last appointment practically in tears. I have been to a counselor before, a few years ago, and it was nothing like this. She's terrible and I find myself questioning her credentials. If I could give her 0 stars, I would.
