I went to Alice Johnson at Finger Lakes Medical Associates, Penn Yan. She said I had wax build up in my ears. She sent in another provider who blasted water into my ears. Afterward my ears felt inflamed and irritated. I developed ringing in my ears. Several days later I went to an ENT doctor. He said my ears were impacted with wax. He gently slid the wax out. About the water method, he said, "don't let anyone do that" because the ear is sensitive and it's not the best method.
