Best doctor for holistic vision
I had a great experience with Dr Alia. She taught me how to control my breathing and become more mindful. I came to her post concussion, in lots of pain, and frustrated. She was able to help my spirit and get rid of my pain with lights, diet, and meditation. I highly recommend her.

Changed My Life
Dr. Santoyo-Johnson changed my life. She was able to help me recover from a brain aneurysm using Syntonic Light Therapy. Using this technology, Dr. Santoyo-Johnson was able to heal my brain and allow me to return to my family. I had worked with neurosurgeons and rehab hospitals for eight months to get back on my feet. They shared with my family that they should not expect me to recover further. But after three treatments of Syntonic, I was able to accomplish daily task on my own. Then I started to work with Kim to regain my dexterity in my hands. I cannot say enough about Dr. Santoyo-Johnson and Family Vision. I would not be back to my family if it was not for them. They changed my life!

Post Concussion - She saved me !
Dr. Santoyo is a dedicated healer for even the most complex cases. Under her care and treatment plan I now believe my Autonomic Nervous System as well as my vision can be healed. Her level of commitment is a rare find and her selfless pursuit to help you find the best possible resources for your specific issues is remarkable. Her energy and spirit have kept me going thru what has been a difficult and frustrating journey. She is extremely knowledgeable, constantly learning the newest and best practices for her patients. She utilizes her decades of education, experience and relationships to give you the best possible outcome. She has also helped both of my children with different vision issues in the past. I have and will continue to refer everyone to her. I continue to be impressed with her commitment, expertise and generosity of spirit. My TBI almost ruined my life. Her support and treatment have turned it all around! I am forever grateful. So, I am confident she can help you too.

SAVED me physically and mentally
Dr. Santoyo-Johnson was recommended to me by my neurologist and it literally saved me both mentally and physically. My many ailments have no definitions from the medical community (for many many years) but that matters not as Dr. Santoyo-Johnson understands the connection of body, mind and spirit and the impact of our brains, emotions and energies have on our overall health. She has treated me with syntonics for close to 3 years and taught me how to self heal when I have episodes. Dr Santoyo-Johnson is my first phone call, email or visit. She is always there to answer questions and provide guidance and support. I CANNOT imagine a life without her in it guiding and treating me to lead a productive and ever healing life.

Listens, cares and thinks out of the box.
Dr. Alia Santoyo-Johnson cares for patients in a holistic, non-invasive way that helped me thrive as a post-concussion syndrome patient. She treated me with syntonics - colored light therapy - that helped my brain heal and my vision improve. Syntonics has been shown to be effective in the treatment of brain injuries and emotional disorders. I found that not only did it help with my vision issues - that it also helped with anxiety, depression and chronic pain connected to my concussion. She always asks if I have questions, and answers all of them. She is very empathetic and caring. If she doesn't know an answer right away, she will research. What I liked best is: She doesn't give up. If I couldn't see something in an eye exam because the light was too jarring - she would figure out another way to test my eyes. If you have vision problems, I highly suggest going to Dr. Alia. She is outstanding.

Dr. Santoyo-Johnson discovered that the prescription I had for my glasses was causing the entire left side of my body to be in pain. I had been experiencing pain there for quite some time and did not know why. She wrote me a new prescription and I am noticing immediate relief. She is a very attentive and caring doctor. I am doing the Syntonics therapy also and its improving my vision field. I give the highest recommendation to Dr. Alia.

After a TBI and dealing with the struggles that come with post concussive syndrome go see Dr. Alia. Light therapy with Dr. Alia has been the single best thing for my recovery. Importantly, Dr. Alia has given me hope. None of the neurologists or host of other specialists have given me that. If you want to make progress in your recovery, if you want hope and you want a provider who treats and sees the whole you as a person, go see Dr. Alia.

I'm functional, due almost entirely to Dr. Alia Santoyo's expertise in understanding the oddities of my still-healing brain from a TBI. If you have post-concussive disorder, seen more practitioners than you can remember, have prescription bottles overflowing your medicine cabinet, and have resigned yourself to chronic misery - then stop and make an appointment. Your life can and will improve. Mine has and continues to do so.

Dr. Santoyo-Johnson quickly diagnosed my son's 5 vision disorders. This diagnosis has completely changed our lives. We were struggling for a year trying to figure out what was holding my 8 year old son back from reading. With glasses and vision therapy he has gained confidence and improved greatly in school. We will be always be grateful.

Dr. Alia Santoyo-Johnson, OD, is in the top tier of EXCELLENT health practitioners I’ve ever encountered! Her manner is not only professional, but also kind. Her knowledge is superb (possibly endless), and I consider her to be a most BRILLIANT person. She is very goal-oriented, so has helped me to resolve the very difficult eye issue I brought to her...in a holistic, non-invasive way! I would (and do) recommend her to friends and especially to people who have “impossible” eye issues…if there

Wow, where to begin! Dr. Santoyo is an incredible doctor with knowledge, expertise, and genuine concern for her patient’s ocular health. Have you heard of Light Therapy, We love Eyes, Retaine, Beauty Counter, or Visual Therapy? I hadn't either, but so grateful to Dr. Alia for introducing me to these products. From makeup remover to using light therapy, I truly appreciate how thorough she is with her exams and her genuine concern for my ocular health and overall wellbeing.

I found Dr Santoyo to be very through, efficient , and educated on my condition. She was extremely helpful in treating me. I was highly skeptical of phototherapy and cbd, but knew I could trust her. I am happy to say it is a year later and I am headache free and love the way my eyes feel. My vision is clear and comfortable and I do not feel any strain, and best yet. My headaches are gone. I highly recommend Dr Santoyo for all your eye care needs.

I struggled with intense headaches for years. My friends highly recommended I come see Dr Santoyo, and I’m really happy I did. She gives the most thorough exam I have ever had. She took her time to explain what she was doing and why. She used special lenses in my glasses and tested me using special filters. Not once did I feel rushed. I haven’t seen this great nor have I felt this wonderful in glasses in a long time. I’m very happy to have seen Dr. Santoyo.
