Had been seeing my primary care doctor for months about pain in my right (dominant) thumb. She kept saying it was arthritis and nothing she was suggesting was helping, including wearing a splint. Finally asked for an Ortho referral and asked for referral to Dr. Levit in Richmond Hill. Alex was working with him that day and came in, quickly diagnosed trigger thumb (I have a long history of trigger fingers and have multiple surgeries...but never the thumb). Injected it - did a superb job. Within 2 days I was pain free and have been for 8 months. Having problems with left thumb now (right thumb had a deep laceration requiring 12 stitches, so I have been overusing left thumb). Just made an appointment to see him in Savannah since he was not available in Richmond Hill this time. I'll go where he is! Great job! This guy knows his stuff. Dr. Levit came in to see me before I left, and I told him Alex is a gem!
