Dr. Alethea Fleming, ND

Dt. Alethea is a good listener and a good problem solver. She is well versed in traditional western medicine AND alternative medicine, and combines the best of both worlds for individual client-based care. She is focused on the best health and ongoing wellness for each individual and treats the whole person, not just body systems or body parts. All this, and she is a healthcare provider who is a picture of wellness and vitality herself; she practices what she teaches and lives what she has learned from her extensive medical background. She has very effectively helped our whole family with various medical problems. We all highly recommend her!

Dr. Fleming is very personable and authentic. And she answers my questions about my health in detail. She is a real asset in helping me to understand my health issues and how best to deal with them. I highly recommend her. Both my husband and I have used her services.

It was for my husband. Dr. Flemming was very helpful. We were able to get some help with some issues and he is doing better now.

I loved Dr. Flemings positivity! She is a great listener, something I have struggled with finding in medical care. Initially I would have given her 5 stars, however, her assumption from a recent visit this year for a year old injury with an undiagnosed infection being diagnosed as anxiety disorder was the biggest insult to me as her patient. I only found out after trying to get reimbursed from my insurance company. How? After looking up the diagnosis code when my insurance company denied my claim. I've had complications as a result of her well intentioned but misguided medical advise. I don't recommend her as a professional physician after my unsettling experience with her this year.

Coming from a traditional medical family, I was hesitant to see a naturopath. However, I was not getting results with traditional care and made an appointment with Dr. Fleming. Her attention to detail when taking my history was impressive. She was not only able to bring me back to "normal" from side effects from a prescribed medication, but her follow-up was totally reassuring. I would recommend Dr. Fleming for her professionalism, knowledge, and people skills.

Although she is not my Primary Care Physician (because of Medicare), I have much confidence in Dr. Fleming’s capabilities and knowledge. I have more than twice paid the non-reimbursed price for a visit with her when I want a second opinion about something that puzzles me. I consider her to be an excellent physician and a helpful friend.

I have been seeing Dr. Alethea for several years now and have found her to be knowledgeable, thorough and thoughtful. I have appreciated the ease by which I can see her, both in person and over the phone. During the Pandemic, she was quickly responsive and greatly helpful. I have had a low white count, over the years and since seeing her that has been helped. I have overall maintained good health.

Dr Fleming has helped my family through many different health issues. She takes the time to listen and understand what is going on. We love that she has alternative options to try before medication in many cases. I'm so grateful she is in our community!!

Dr Fleming took time to fully listen and address my health concerns. She helped delineate between what can be attributed to normal aging and which concerns needed intervention, with clear guidance on how to proactively move forward. She even gave me a full physical exam -which seems to be a rare thing these days!

Love Dr. Fleming. Started going there some years ago and now two of my adult children go as well. She has helped us all and if she can't she will refer you to someone who can. When you are with her you feel like your important and that she truly cares about your health and life. Unlike some doctors who can't wait to rush out the door.
