Dr. Aimee Arikian, LP

Aimee is one of the best therapists I have ever worked with, and I have worked with my fair share. I started working with Aimee through The Emily Program. At first, I was so resistant to letting go of my eating disorder; she was patient with me, met me where I was, set attainable goals that allowed me to move at my own pace, listened deeply, and always left me with a new perspective. Through working with Aimee, I slowly but surely got to a point where I felt I could start to let go of my eating disorder. I would not be where I am today without her help and the support of The Emily Program.

saw her once. she turned me off from her entire associated clinic, that i do not want to slander in its entirety, as i believe it stands for a good cause. she trivialized several of my expressed concerns. she overemphasized somatic experiences. this appeared to be her attempt at a time suck--i.e. spending time on interview subjects that she deemed "comfortable." she failed to discuss issues that would alert most reasonable providers to threat of patient's imminent harm by 3d parties.

I don't think she practices. She is a supervisor at the Emily program of one of my therapists. She spends her time ensuring the Emily program doesn't have to pay for licensed psychologists for treatment. She is complicit in their agenda to maximize profits whilst providing poor care.
