Like the other review states, this lady has a predetermined perspective and will not entertain different points of views. Even when presented with objective statements and dialogues, she refuses to discuss an incorrect diagnosis on her part. I spent a total of 35 minutes speaking to her. After asking questions that she was unable to answer or more like refused to answer with the “I don’t have to provide you any answers” it’s obvious she’s incompetent in her field and should not be practicing

She was a pretty good therapist overall, but there came a point where she went by what she saw instead of what I was directly explaining to her. It's funny because I discussed this on more than one occasion, and it still happened. A client can have all the skills in the world but if they have a mental block, they need help. otherwise, they wouldn't be in therapy. Ultimately, I didn't feel believed and it felt like she thought I was exaggerating, but that's not the case. I hesitate with this last part, but not being believed almost felt like a betrayal, and that's when I decided to leave therapy. Just because some of us aren't visibly unwell does not mean we don't struggle. Some challenges happen to be invisible just like some physical ailments. At first, she affirmed my struggles, but then they were downplayed. I am okay with being challenged, but I am not okay with not being believed. I do believe she tried her best to help but it just didn't work out in the end.
