Adam Robinson, PA-C

What set me back a bit was how Adam Robinson was clearly dismissive of my condition and symptoms. I was having a good day- one of about 5 in the past year- so my mobility was better. However I explained that and that my pain was consistent. I was previously diagnosed with a serious degeneration issue in my back. Mr. Robinson reviewed one of the images and said I did not have the condition. He didn't know how someone had said I did.Adam Robinson seemed only to be concerned with if I was going to want to have more imaging done that day. He asked on four occasions. After the fourth he said I could go and that I did not need to finish filling out the questionnaire about my condition. He was engaged at first but quickly became disengaged even aloof. I left feeling like I did not receive good care or receive clear answers. My pain persists even today.

Adam was very attentive to my issues. Very shortly into our visit he determined that surgery would more than likely be needed. He requested more current tests like a MRI, Xray, bone density and PT. He said after that we would re-evaluate and determine what type of surgery would be the best. He definitely knows what he’s talking about.

Dr. Robinson makes me comfortable about a uncomfortable problem. He takes the time to explain things and explains how 'we' will go about treatment. He's very knowledgeable and has a good sense of humor. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

I was worried about this visit, and Adam made me feel very comfortable the moment he walked in. He went over the results of my MRI very thoroughly. We talked about the reason for my concerns and discussed the best options. I left feeling really optimistic that by following his instructions I will have very good results. Basically I will be seeing a physical therapist and doing exercises that will strengthen my core muscles. I need the physical therapy to compensate for the muscle I don’t have anymore. (It was used in my reconstructive surgery).

When we called to schedule an appt with a doctor- the scheduler asked if we wanted to see Dr. Robinson. He is a PA! Told us our daughter's back was fractured BEFORE she had the MRI. Wanted to have multiple phone visits to follow up and then told us we would be charged for regular in person office visits. He actually argued with me about my daughter's back issues when I questioned him about being wrong.
