Dr. Aaron Schwindt, OD

I have never wanted to get my eyes checked. I am sensitive, about my corneas. But Dr. Aaron made me feel, safe. and I almost felt, loved. I can not express how much I would recommend this doctor. 10/10. 5 stars is not enough.

Doctor Schwindt's wife assured me that they accepted Medicare (primary insurer ) and my secondary insurer; and she further understood that Medicare had to be invoiced first. Only then would my secondary insurer pay the remaining amount. Of course, they invoiced my secondary insurer first, who denied the claim (no surprise there). I specifically stated in my initial visit, "I have great insurance and will not be paying". She laughed, and repeated my comment verbatim. She further informed me that they had experience with my insurer and there would be no problem. Days after my visit, Dr Schwindt called me personally to explain that my secondary insurer denied the claim (again, no surprise). He then said that I should get on the phone with my insurers to "straiten out the administration). He offered no apology for his wife's error, no humbleness for the failure in his office nor a commitment for future improvement in customer support. No apology or humbleness was evident.

Had my appointment rescheduled twice before finally settling on a time. The time that he actually kept he didn’t show up. Sat in the exam room for 30 minutes before I went out to see what was going on. Then was told he was sick and wouldn’t be coming in. Wasted my time and VERY unprofessional. Will not be going back.
