He's a life saver.
Dr Williams saved my husband's life. He did an emergency craniotomy on him on Christmas. My husband had fallen and had blood on the brain. He had an MRI on Christmas Eve and was transported to MGHB via ambulance. Thankfully Dr Wms was there and did the surgery. He called at 5AM to let me know that it had gone well. We feel so blessed to have had him.

I sustained significant nerve damage from a prior procedure and happened to stumble upon Dr. Williams on the web. Unlike my previous surgeon, he listened to my account of events very carefully, explained my options/risks in great detail, and then successfully completed a nerve graft to allow the chance for at least Some regeneration. He knew that prior to my injury, I was an extremely active person and my quality of life took a great hit, and because of this was still willing to take the risk and operate despite the low chance of a >50% recovery. Beyond his surgical skills though, all it took was my very first appointment to know that I was in good hands. There are few surgeons nowadays who show any sense of humanity and/or compassion, who don’t walk around with a God complex, and do what they do because they care about their patients rather than the status or money they earn - Dr. Williams happens to be one of those few. I’ve yet to meet another surgeon that I trust so wholeheartedly

Dr. Williams not only figured out why my mother suddenly could not walk, he explained the problem, risks and personally performed a complicated surgery. For years doctors looked at her brain, neck and back, but Dr. Williams found the tumor pressing her spinal cord. Dr. Williams speaks and does everything with expert surgical precision. Dr. Williams sees and understands what others miss. 100 + stars & TY to Dr. Williams. Consider yourself lucky if you get to meet him, he is the best.

Way too eager for a life altering surgery. I am without question worse off than I was prior to surgery. He did not listen to my concerns and current pain. I trusted him and he betrayed my trust without question.

I was diagnosed with a very rare and unusual condition. Dr. Williams is excellent sharing information, data, my concerns, available options for my outcome. His staff is right on time with appointments and you are never rushed out the door. Going to see him from western Mass was the best decision I made. I feel very confident in decisions Dr. Williams makes about my care. I live a very normal life and my issue has not progressed in over 6 years.
