Dr. Zia Abdi, MD

I’ve been a patient with Dr.Abdi sonce I was 20yrs old…I am now 40. I took a breif break i. My twenties and ehen I returned he remembered me. Dr.Abdi is very tentative and knowledgeable. He was my grandmother’s doctor, then mine now he my children’s doctor.

Dr Abdi has been my doctor for almost 20 years. Always compassionate and willing to spend a little extra time going over in detail your health issues and making sure you understand. Also has a great support staff.

Dr. Abdi is a very caring man who goes above and beyond for his patients. His staff is also excellent.

Dr. Abdi looked me in the eye and said he would be an advocate for me. He lied. After contacting the FAA and deferring my FAA Class 2 medical certificate request, he was allowed to wait 14 days before final submission so that I could get him my relevant information. That way, he could submit my lab work WITH his paperwork. That would have significantly shortened the amount of time I will be grounded while FAA medical staff sorts through my information. Instead, he made the final submission three days later KNOWING I was working to get him lab information ASAP. He has bent rules in the past to get pilots medically certified (I know, I was one of them) and got caught. Now, rather than doing what he was LEGALLY ALLOWED TO DO, he decided NOT to do what was in my best interest, making my journey to certification significantly harder. I will never return to his office and I urge anybody interested in a doctor who actually gives a....well, use your imagination....to run screaming!

Got a FAA First Class Medical with a EKG. Staff was incompetent from the start. First the girl got my file confused with someone else, then was convinced that I was on some medication that I was not on. Fast forward six months later I go to a FAA medical examiner in Florida and found out the doctors office never uploaded my EKG to the FAA.

Dr Abdi is Amazing! I have been going to him for almost 10 years. I was diagnosed with PCOS and he has me on a regimen that helps me control it. He is very attentive and listens to and addresses any of my medical concerns. He genuinely loves what he does and is dedicated to his patients. Dr Abdi is so friendly and kind and I look forward to my visits. An absolute Gem of a Person. Let me give kudos to the awesome staff as well. They are amazing!!

Excellent! He listens to your problems and has a warm demeanor. His staff is excellent and very kind. I have been a patient for many years and have never had a problem.

ive been going to dr abdi for over 25 years then i was in my thirties very healthy now i am 63 with diabetes 2 liver disease copd and a B.A.! lol dr abdi has been wonderful going all through this with me was upset when he found i got liver disease thru drinking but he stays right up on top of all my health problems i now take about 7 different meds a day bcause of diabetes 2(caused by liver problem) dr abdi prescribes all my meds fusses at me when my sugar is high and yes he does have a bad habit of talking over ppl cause he just cannot read and get the results of latest tests and answer ur questions at same time! if he did that i wouldnt think he was so thorough! but at the end of ur session he asks if theres any questions and gives you time to speak ur mind lots of ppl dont give HIM time for that! so dr abdi if u read my review just want you to know if not for you putting up with me all these years i dont know what!! thanks

When I first visit Dr. Zia I didn't like it but, after a few weeks with him on Workers comp. Overall he's a good Doctor.

I saw Dr. Abdi last week and was again impressed at his ability to make a quick, accurate diagnosis. He is extremely busy but he saw me after a wait of less than 40 mins. In my experience, that is not unusual for a solo practitioner. I would definitely recommend him to others.

Horrible staff in the office. Promised me the doctor will be there in 30 minutes. I waited for 2 hours until I had to leave.

Dr. Zia and his staff is absolutely amazing. Dr. Zia is very "real" and does not sugar coat anything. When I first walked into the office, I didnt know what to expect, but from day one it has been a very warm and welcoming environment. The doctors assistants Ashley L. & Naomi are the best! They always remember my name whenever I go in and they also follow up with me after visits (which no other doctors office that Ive visited in the past has done). Also one of the great things about this office

I had my last appointment with Dr. Zia today. I will not be going to him again. I went to him (2) other times before this appointment trying to give him a chance since I was referred to him by the Veterans choice program. Bad choice. I tried to explain to him the signs and symptoms, and other problems I was having since my previous appointment. He kept interrupting me and wasn't "listening" at all. He doesn't care about the patient, very insensitive, and rude. His staff is alright though.
