A great guide through a difficult medical journey.
I have been treated by Dr Oganisyan for more than two years now. He's very competent, warm and has a nice quiet sense of humor. I'm now going through treatment for what appears to be Parkinson's Disease. I have immense trust and confidence in his ability to guide me through this long and potentially perilous journey.

Skilled and empathetic neurologist
I have been consistently impressed with Dr. O and the staff at his office. This doctor cares about his patients and is an incredible advocate for them. It doesn't hurt that he's a nice man with a good sense of humor. When you have anxiety like me, that makes all the difference. I always look forward to our appointments. He was also my attending physician when I was in the hospital. I was very lucky.

Empathetic and Caring
Dr. Oganisyan was empathetic and caring. He took his time and explained everything in great detail. Yes, he was running behind. But with the amount of time he took with my appointment that is to be expected especially the level of detailed explanation he gave with the diagnosis. He also explain the positive side of my diagnosis and what I should expect in the future.

Absolutely terrible doctor. Absolutely do not go to Oganisyan. After making us wait in the ER for 12 hours and then in the hospital for 2 days Oganisyan came to "evaluate" my mother with Parkinson's Disease...if you can call it that. Blake Medical refused to give her meds until Oganisyan signed off. He made us wait for 48 hours to finally give the ok. When Oganisyan gave the ok, she was too out of it to even take the pills. Oganisyan came THE NEXT DAY to evaluate her. Spent 4 minutes. Told us to talk to the nurse. He left. I am absolutely livid with how he treated my mother. Do not make my mistake, please go somewhere else. Save yourself the heartache.

Doctor Oganisyan found my seizures and diagnose me the first day I saw him at the hospital. My other previous doctors couldn’t find it, he did because he cared and he looked at all my tests. And I will always be thankful for this.

From the time I got checked out. Temp. and blood pressure then was allowed to go inside and sign in. All the ladies were very nice. My time waiting was minimal. The nurse is always friendly. She asks questions pertaining to what has been happening. It never takes long for Dr Oganisyan to come in next. He has his questions that he asked me. I in turn told him about my concerns and troubles. We talk about them and he gave me a solution. This time at my appointment my father had recently passed on. I told Dr. Oganisyan about my father and how I was having a hard time with it. He took the time to ask what had happened. He explained what bleeding on the brain does. Also what swelling of the brain does. I will highly recommend Dr. Oganisyan to anyone needing a neurologist.

I was seen by the physician within a few minutes of my arrival! He took his time going over my history and asking the appropriate questions, performing a physical exam, and explaining in layman's terms what he thought might be the issue. Dr. Oganisyan made the referrals for further testing while I was there so that all I had to do was schedule them directly with the providers. I would give him an A+ without hesitation.
