Dr. Zhenrong Zhang, MD

I have been a patient of hers since she first opened her practice. Dr. Zhang has always taken the time to address all of my health care needs. I credit her for advising me to take steps that I attribute to my quality of life being what it is today. I truly believe that I would not be alive today if not for her keen diagnosis and follow-up.

These negative reviews just don't match up with my experience. Dr Zhang has always listened and has taken more time to understand MY situation than any doctor I've ever been to. She's always been slow to prescribe long term medicine, counseling me to improve my habits to avoid the meds, but when I couldn't get it done on my own, she prescribed what I needed. I prefer a doctor who thinks about your health not just what you think you need because of commercials or a website. Everyone there has been nothing short of pleasant and professional every time.

I switched to Dr. Zhang a little over a year ago after my PCP retired.. There were mixed reviews about her but I decided to give her a shot. My husband who also went to her did not like her because he said he felt she was quick to give you meds and send you on your way. I didn't like that for example I had some back pain after some strenuous work. She prescribed meds/cream, although I asked to get an x-ray because I had been taking meds at home and no real relief. She said start with cream first then will see. when pain didn't go away and I asked for x-ray a second time, I needed to be "seen again" before she would send referral... which was pointless for me as she didn't do anything. I believe she only wanted the office visit payment/charges for me being there. After all of this for personal reasons I had to cancel 2 visits when I attempted to reschedule she refused. Definitely not a good taste. Hopefully my new PCP will be better.

She is very understanding

Dr.Zhang had a problem listening to her patients. I went to her for only one year after my primary care doctor retired. I was on a medication to help me sleep. I wanted to get off this medication Dr. Zhang wanted me to come in very week because the medications she prescribed were not working. I told her it was too expensive for me to come in every week. She then told me to go somewhere else because that how she did things. She prescribe several antidepressants after I told her that medication made me gain 50 pounds in the past. She prescribe bipolar medication that made me feel bipolar. It was at the point I could not get out of bed. I ask her to put me back on my original medication. She would not call in my medication until I turn in all the other medications. I never heard of this. It toke her four days to call in my medication even after I turn back in the other medications she prescribe. She Is The Worst.

Very bad treatment. We asked her to refer my wife to a specialist as a primer care. She refused and started screaming loudly and saying, “It is not my job to refer her to any specialist. My only job is to see you twice a year and do nothing for you, then she expelled us.”

very rude and unprofessional, rush appointments, and list health problems on health records even not mentioned during the visit.

Very knowledgeable physician, but doesn't l don't quite feel like she's understanding all of my concerns. There is minimal to no wait and getting an appointment is simple. If you're having to follow up often be prepared to have to pay. It adds up quickly.

Sorry about so many typos that were wrong. I used the letters bp for blood pressure & other shortened letters but it seems computers have a way of getting the words they want. She immedienly started in on me that I take too many meds. I take what I am prescribed for problems. She thought my bp & pulse was too low even though I felt great & 1 Of meds were for tremors. Bp went 2 170/98-100&when I expressed concern she said I was argumentative & I would be happier elsewhere. 1 staff at front desk.

She is very compassionate and caring! She had helped me in many ways and is helping me build a team here to carefully watch over me due to my various disabilities and right now she is having me vine in every2 weeks to monitor me. I was having a horrible spell and through the use of one of her meds in her office and mine at home, I took a long nap and was better again. That NEVER happens I usually have to ride it out. I recommend her with all my heart she truly cares about her patients.
