Dr. Zena Monji, MD

Rude. Condescending. Dismissive. Judgemental, arrogant bully seems to be a fitting description. Avoid her if you enjoy being treated like a human being.

Horrible experience. Unpleasant and unprofessional. Has no compassion at all. Why become a doctor ? I felt violated because of the war she conducted an exam, she also would not answer any questions I had about health of my first ever future baby, would not make eye contact. Would not recommend to anyone ever! Horrible person and extremely disrespectful

The worst doctor I've have ever encountered in my whole life. No other doctor has ever mistreated me as horribly as she did. She was judgemental, rude and UNPROFESSIONAL not to mention mistreated me during our visit at Oregon Medical Group. I was scared and misguided. Has no bedside manner she made many snarky remarks during our visit and would cut me off everytime I tried explaining what I felt or what i thought. Horrid doctor.

One of the least sympathetic doctors I have ever seen. She was rushed, condescending and rude. She had no desire to hear my symptoms or concerns.

Dr. Monji is the best M.D. I have ever worked with! I was recommended to her in 2016 and she was the first medical professional to treat me with respect after telling her why I wanted to receive a hysterectomy, and several months later, performed the surgery. She was proactive in my care and has been a wonderful M.D. to have! Thanks to her, I had the hysterectomy and have felt incredible since the surgery, and still see her for my annual sexual health care appointments.

I had the most wonderful experience because of Dr. Monji, words can't describe. She is so honest and informative that I knew I could trust her. She didn't give us false security but also talked through options and concerned so I always left feeling empowered instead of confused. Even when in scrubs and behind schedule, she ended EVERY appointment sitting down, looking at me, and asking if I had any questions. I never left an appointment without an informational handout. She is just amazing.

Dr. Monji is by far one of the best physicians I have had the pleasure to work with and see first hand the care that she gives her patients. Dr. Monji is compassionate, knowledgeable, kind, and above all an advocate. Surgical skills are impeccable along with her bedside manner and her ability to actively listen to patients and staff about any concerns. I recommend family and friends to Dr Monji without hesitation and will always be so appreciative of what Dr Monji does for all her patients.

Dr. Monji has been my Gynecologist for the last 5 years. Because of her diligence I was diagnosed with stage 1 endometrial cancer last May, She referred me to a Gyn oncologist for a total hysterectomy, but because the cancer was caught early I didn't require any additional treatment. Dr Monji contacted me personally to learn when my surgery was scheduled and to see how I was doing post surgery. I am thankful for her professionalism and highly recommend her!

I work with Dr Monji at the hospital, she is an extremely talented surgeon, up to date in her practice, very thorough, and compassionate. I also see her for my own gynecological care. I can recommend her without hesitation!

I have been a patient of Dr. Monji for 21 years. I was going to be a young mom when I was pregnant with my daughter and she never looked down on me for that. She is is a very patient and compassionate doctor. I wish all doctors could be like her. I would trust her with anything and everything. She has seen me go through abusive relationships and relationships that cheated on me. She clearly explained any and all tests that she could run to make sure nothing was wrong!! I love her!!!

Dr. Monji has given my exceptional care through all my pregnancies. She is knowledgeable and has wonderful bedside manor. She went to great lengths to ensure that we received the best care with every delivery. She also made herself available to us, even on her days off. She is wonderful and I cannot say enough good things about her. She is professional and compassionate and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an OB/GYN.

Dr. Monji has been my provider for over 19 years. She has been by my side through 2 pregnancies, 2 OR procedures, 1 difficult (for me) office procedure and a handful of whiny complaints. She has been compassionately by my side, holding my hand as I drifted off to sleep and personal phone calls to me to check in or discuss results. She has allowed me to be in control of my healthcare. She is straight forward which I appreciate. I have recommended her to friends and family who have had great care

This is an easy review to write! Dr Monji is professional and kind. I have seen her work with patients, friends, family, and colleagues and I am always impressed! She is smart, funny and easy to talk with. As an Labor and Delivery RN I am thankful I have had the opportunity to watch and learn from her... I absolutely recommend her care!

Hands down one of the best, get to the point, take care of business doctors. It’s so refreshing to have a doctor that is confident in the office and in the operating room. I have trusted her medical decisions for many years and would highly recommend her to anyone.

I have known Dr Monji professionally and personally for 18 years. No one could ask for a better physician. This woman is an incredibly professional, up to date, fantastic surgeon and clinician. Yes, she can come across as somewhat brusque or intense but she cares just as intensely. Quite simply, she is truly the best you could get.

I saw Dr. Monji today for minor symptoms and was reminded why I have kept her as my sole OB/Gyn for more than 20 years. I find her to be a good listener and she was thorough in explaining what I may be experiencing. She outlined our plan of action and asked how I preferred her to follow up with the results of my tests. She has always been kind and honest. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Monti!

Dr. Monji may not be the most personable doctor but she was amazing at her job and did a wonderful job during the birth of my daughter. She also came back the very next day to visit me in the hospital on her own time to check in with me and see how we were doing. She is a great doctor, I would highly recommend.

Dismissed all my concerns. Had the nerve to ask me if I was making up and exaggerating my symptoms. I've never been so insulted by a doctor in all my life and I had been seeing her for three years. Will not be going back or recommending to anyone!

Cruel, disrespectful. Lack of deep listening and kindness for my experience. So sad, I walked out very disappointed and in shock from her treatment of me. I'm also a health professional, and saddened that others may experience this when they are in need of support. Felt disregarded,... So sad. I found a great doc later that day, and on my way to wellness.
