Over Priced and poor results
I do not recommend Zena Dermatology to anyone. Took my daughter in for fine acne and she was immediately put on Isotretinoin. In fact that is their preferred treatment as many of my friends have taken in their teens for acne and all 3 were put on Isotretinoin. A good money maker for this Dermatology office especially when you are required to take your daughter in once a month to see the NP and get a pregnancy test even though daughter is not sexually active. Insurance didn't cover so it became quite expensive at $150 once a month. After 2 years the nurse practitioner tapered off the medication but acne returned after 12 months. I definitely did not want to return to this practice so I took my daughter to Z Dermatology instead. Dr. Zamara stated that Isotreti was a last resort medication and should not be used except under serious circumstances due to risks. Dr. Zamara put my daughter on antibiotics which cleared up her acne and she's been acne free ever since. 2 years now.

Amazing Doc
Dr Gabriel is not only super super smart but she is also so funny and fun to be around. She is so kind and super fast to know exactly what to do to give you your best skin. I highly recommend her.

I was referred to Dr. Zena Gabriel by my trusted internist several years ago. I have a history of skin cancer, so wanted someone skilled and thorough. Dr. Gabriel has been that and more, she has been outstanding. Through a skin care regimen she directs, I have been able to greatly reduce the problems and need for biopsies, freezes and Mohs procedures. I feel that she cares and takes the time to explain as well as treat. I highly recommend her.
