I had the misfortune of visiting this emergency room recently, and it was one of the worst healthcare experiences of my life. From the moment I walked in, I felt dismissed and undervalued as a patient. Dr. Fordham who attended to me was incredibly unprofessional and lacked any semblance of empathy. I expressed my symptoms and concerns, hoping for some understanding or guidance. Instead, he made me feel like I was wasting his time. He walked into the room and just stared awkward and was rude. His condescending attitude left me feeling humiliated. I left the ER without any answers, feeling more confused and anxious than when I arrived. To make matters worse, after reviewing my blood work on my own, I discovered I had a urinary tract infection (UTI). It’s unbelievable that the doctor didn’t even take the time to properly assess my condition or consider the possibility of a UTI despite my symptoms. I had to advocate for myself. Worst experience of my life.

Would give zero stars
He was in my room for 30 seconds when I came to the ed for aspirating a pill. Did not perform an assessment and his note stated my respirations and heart rate were normal. The pill had actually blocked my lower airway and my heart rate and blood pressure were very high. The pill had to be surgically removed. Hmmm. Thank God for wonderful nurses!!!!

Professional
He took care of my 96 yr. old mother who had a fall. I thought he was polite, communicated well, ordered proper test and stitched her wounded arm. I thought he was excellent. Well done.

Worse care I have ever gotten zero is more like what he should have. VERY disrespectful. I am a 100% disabled veteran ,he knew because i had a 100% disable vet ball cap on. He is the rudest bedside I have ever had in 66 years . He threatened to walk out after we were polite and a 3+hour wait His words I will walk out and then what will you do. I came to $$$ER because I could not walk. My pain level was 10. I would fall to ground with out my cane. I got the worse care you could get .avoid this doctor if you value your health . I have HBP and when they retook my BP after i asked at leaving because I had extream headache it was 30+ points highter

Definitely Not!
If I could leave a zero rating I would. Dr Fordham saw my 91 year old father in the ER. He never actually examined him or spoke to him. After looking at lab and test results he simply reported them to me, and even then his demeanor was distant, cold, and uncaring. Thank goodness for the hospitalist who later examined him!!
