Dr. Stone is a very caring, compassionate and excellent doctor. I saw him today for a hip replacement. This is my second and I wouldn’t go to anyone else. My first needed to be done ( when the pain was bad enough for me). Due to a fall and fractured femur we discussed taking a going ahead and replacing the hip, avoiding 2 separate surgeries. Dr Stone actually went to the hospital I had been taken to, where he was not on call. It was the day before a holiday and he had been in surgery at another facility. I consider that above & beyond. I truly appreciated that I didn’t have to see a doctor I had never met. He will never know how much that meant, though I refer him to anyone considering hip or knee consultation.

Love Dr. Stone. He listens to you and spends plenty of time with you. Really seems like he cares. Not as pleased with the office staff and lab staff at the Hoover location. They need to be more professional and friendly.

The doctor is good at diagnosis but the staff is horrible. They take over two weeks to make a referral and never call you back. I just decided to make my own appointment with the specialist. I also took a disc to the receptionist and it was misplaced. When I first walked in both receptionist were looking at each other to see who should take me. Neither one of them wanted to.
