First of all, he is not a neurologist, so his name should not come up on a search for neurologists. I would give zero stars if I could because I would never recommend him. Despite being my parents' physician for years, he has not attended to their increasing needs, recommended seeing specialists, increased or changed their medications, or encouraged them to take appropriate measures for their diagnoses. He completely missed signs of significant life-threatening long-term illnesses in each of them even though he sees them frequently enough to have seen their declines. He works a very limited schedule, giving the illusion that he's their doctor, but is in fact, MIA. He may be kind and familiar to the people in this town but he is no longer serving them. Please move your parents on to another doctor if they use him because they do not have the responsive care they need as their problems and needs increase.

Dr. Huchens treats his patients with respect; and "Nurse Kitty" is wonderful--BUT, the front office staff could be more courteous, answer the phone when patients call for follow-up, and in general be more efficient.
