Dr Flake did not take the time to review my medical history, questioned my allergic reactions, and ultimately prescribed a medication that nearly killed me.I called to tell him I was having a reaction to the med and he explained it was just a side effect. I ended up in the hospital after having an allergic reaction that attacked my liver and kidneys.

Dr. Flake is an excellent physician! He listens with full attention, is very knowledgeable, takes as much time as needed and explains things in a manner that can be understood. I would recommend him to any of my friends and family.

As a person he is a really "nice guy". Unfortunately as a Physician, not good experience at all. In short, misdiagnosed me twice over a two year period and my Son once. I understand medicine is a practice but to be my Physician, ya gotta be right more often than wrong -- not the other way around. That's just not good enough.

I do not recommend this doctor. A doctor is only as good as the staff he surrounds himself with. I had been a patient of Dr. Flake's for 8 years. During that time he was a great doctor. However, his staff is terrible. They cannot think outside the box and are just robots when answering the phones and scheduling appointments. If you cannot get an appointment, the quality of the doctor is of no concern. I would think long and hard about seeing this physician.

I have been going to Dr Flake for several years now. I trust his judgement and openness to be able to talk about anything about my healthcare. I would consider and have recommended Dr Flake to family and friends. He is very easy to talk to and seems to genuinely care about your health.
