Dr Zachary Cohen is a wonderful doctor that will take the time to figure out what is best for his patient. I also liked to thank him for taking the time to contact my daughters husband and myself (her mother) during her stay at the Perinatal Unit. It's tremendously hard to see a family member to go thru any problems with Perinatal/Postpartum depression, but with Dr. Cohen staying in touch and getting a complete history on my daughter it was helpful for him to see what might help her best. I'm sincerely grateful to Dr. Cohen for all of his time, interest, and care for my daughter and our family. I would highly recommend him for perinatal/postpartum depression. In her 3rd trimester of pregnancy her depression/anxiety/ocd escalated to a point she could not function daily without being in full panic 24/7. After the delivery it continued to get worse. Fortunately we got her into UNC and finally got the treatment she needed by Dr Cohen. I feel she is better today due to his care and concern.
