First thing was registration, which went well. Dr Manalo's assistant who gathered triage info was very nice and helpful. Myself, as a person trying to find out whether I had a potential life-threatening disease, believe me, I had questions! Luckily, both Dr Manalo and her assistant are very caring and professional. I ended taking some blood tests, and, thankfully, Dr Manalo called me today as she'd promised. Praise the Lord! To Him I give all the Glory! The doctor said that the tests did not show cancer of any kind! Thank you, Dr Manalo my appreciation for you is now set in my heart. . .

I found Dr. Manalo professional&reassuring.
Dr. Manalo explained things clearly to my husband & me & took time with me. I felt my care was important to her; she was knowledgeable about my biopsy results (3 masses) and the treatment I would receive following my surgery. I found her manner personable & warm. Her “nurse” however, was cold & not at all friendly. She never introduced herself & I had to ask her name. She was curt to my question & clearly just wanted to move on. She, in no way made me feel like a person & I’m old enough to be her grandmother. I think it’s important that the oncologists understand how the staff behaves because they are the first people we see & they actually set a very important tone at the cancer center. This also includes the two ladies at the reception area. They lack skills that I value & experience at other medical. People who come here are often confused & unsure if they will live or die. They need to be treated with compassion & respect. I sincerely hope my issues are addressed & not ignored.
