Dr. Hu is great!
She looks at all problems of my health. Diabetes Type I, MS and coronary artery heart disease. She is very polite and listens to me. Sarah/from Lebanon/Lucy is her boss is the best tech I have every had my whole life!!! Please give her the credit she deserves! I will never find a better doctor and nurse/tech ever in my life! All my doctors are in LVHN except Dr Hu and I will never change!

The last two time I had to wait almost two hours to be seen, I feel she should not schedule surgery in AM and schedule patients at the same time

Until recently when I required a different specialty within opthmology, Dr. Hu was my primary opthmolic provider for quite a few years. I found her to be incredibly accessible and having a terrific bedside manor. Having seem many opthmologists in the 40 years since my injury, until I saw her, I never felt as comfortable or as well-served. I would recommend her to anyone.

Felt very comfortable in her presence - direct/ to the point/ answered every question with no reticence. Helped me understand the problem observed/ her suggestions for a solution/ no pressure either to timing or actual solution.

only problem I has was that the first nurse forgot to write down my eye pressures and to dilate my eyes. ended up having to redo basically the entire visit for a second time

I had an extreme pain behind my right eye, made worse by sunlight or even bright light. I called this office after my optometrist said he was too busy to see me. I explained my problem, they agreed to see me within an hour. The doctor studied my eye and found an inflammation which caused the pain, possibly shingles, as well as a scratch on the cornea. They prescribed medicine, within several hours I was able to take steps toward beating the problem. Dr. Was very good, easy to question, competent

Our biggest complaint would be wait time. While certainly with medial appointments, emergencies arise, but over 2 hours for an appointment is unreasonable. Our time is as valuable as yours!
