Dr. Yuan Liu, MD

Dr. Yuan Liu is heaven sent!!! He successfully address my right ear pain due to hardened cerumen with NO PAIN!! I am now coming back to see him regularly. Thank you so very much Dr. Liu!!

The entire liver transplant team fought so hard for months to get my wife to Keck with promising assurance that it was the right place for her to be because of her liver condition. She had been there for evaluation appointments before they finally admitted her. The team of doctors, surgeons, and NPs were amazing supportive and very positive about my wife's future from being treated and taken care of by their staff the entire time there. They found out through one of the many tests she'd gone through that she has an early stage of breast cancer. The plan was to take care of the liver asap, and then go to their cancer center after surgery rehab and have surgery to remove the cancer from her breast. Next thing you know doctor Yuan Liu comes in being pretty negative about why my wife hadn't started her AA Meetings other statements that (in my opinion) bordered on threats of releasing her from Kecks care. All of a sudden when doctor Yuan came back 2 days later there was new news of a meeting with the entire team of doctors and surgeons to discuss whether or not my wife should be a liver transplant candidate. We'll, needless to say that after this so-called meeting, she came back saying that the entire team all agreed that because of my wife's teenage and early twenties lifestyle of drinking, that she's a risk of relapsing. So they decided to deny her candidacy for the transplant, and that they're just going to give her some meds to get her as good as they can get her and then release her home. So basically it's, good luck, hope you find another center that will accept you before your time is up with your current liver. By the way, my wife is now 51 years young.

Dr. Liu is a young female and a very nice, patient and knowledgeable doctor who is generous with her time. The above description must be in error.

Do not trust your health with this doctor. He is condescending and extremely disrespectful. He lacks tact, compassion, and bedside manner. His practices are very questionable and unethical. He did absolutely nothing for the patient, and in, fact made the situation far worse.
