Dr. Yu Guan, MD

I had a very negative experience with this doctor. In my opinion, she was unprofessional and had a poor bedside manner. She did not listen to my concerns and frequently made incorrect treatment decisions. I would not recommend her services and advise others to be cautious.'

My son has been hospitalized and saw this dr during his stay. Never really examed him, didn’t Listen to the patient at all. Kept talking over him, it had to be her way and didn’t take in to account the patient - son has autism so his actions are a little different - he talks search sarcastically and with some eye rolls which is just him- and she got mad at him and asked if always talked like that, and then told him she didn’t like that kind of talk. He was not well and she ignored him, he passed out after being given medicine on her order and lied to the rapid response team when they were called to his room. She was giving orders during the RR event and no one else in the room understood why she was doing those things. They were wrong. He was having seizure like activity and was not responding and she wanted to pour juice down his throat since he had not eaten his dinner - which was delivered 10 mins before the rapid was called .

She is such a terrible doctor I have ever seen.I have to say she is two-faced person! Do not trust her and stay away from her!

Overall, my appointments with Dr. Guan have been good, she is a knowledgeable doctor, listened to my concerns. Her nurse is wonderful, too. Unfortunately, towards the end of the appointment I felt rushed, I wasn't given the chance/time to ask questions, that part could be improved.

Dr. Guam is thorough, asks questions, refers wisely and is very caring!

Dr. Guan is a great family doctor. Ive seen her for years. She listens, she spends time with you, she explains conditions/procedures throughly, and she is easy to get in to see.

This was a follow-up visit for colitis diagnosed via CT scan at RRMC. Labs to be done on 4-22 to see if my WBC has returned to normal.

Dr. Guan is very kind and knowledgeable. She treats my mom with patience and care. She listens to patients and discuss the best options. She cares about your medical history. I would highly recommend her as your family doctor.

I had a best-ever checkup experience with Dr. Yu Guan on Thursday 4-9-2020, despite COVID-19 Social Distancing and societal fears. I felt completely safe and respected. My entire visit was excellent from start to finish because Dr. Guan and her TPMG staff had a smooth & very safe system from check-in to check-out, with many special COVID-19 precautions in place. Dr. Guan was especially kind and unhurried with me. She took time to ask about my mental health in addition to safely examining my physical health.

Always honest and very welcoming. Not afraid to be blunt when it comes to what is essental to getting better or recovering.

I think Dr. Guan is very knowledgeable. She is also very matter of fact with health care. I recommend highly her.
