Update on previous review.
I wanted to give this doctor the benefit of the doubt. My amazing doctor that used to be at the same practice left. The first appointment went ok. It has come to my attention that the first appointment was probably ok because all she did was really follow previous doctor's notes.6 months later she orders blood work. She gets the results back. High Iron! I was literally taking blood builder at this time. I called the office 8 days later because I never got the results on the portal. Her assistant said 'Dr. Sohn hasn't signed off on these yet'. 2 minutes later she calls me back and says they are posted and that my iron is too high. What?! Why did that doctor get results back and have a patient take iron supplements for almost a week after getting high iron results.I have since left this office.

Fired!
I have been on the same compounded medication for many years. First visit with Dr. Sohn, first words out of her mouth were, 'I will not prescribe compounded medication.' I told her that wouldn't work for me. I imagine she had to find a reason to charge my insurance for the visit, so as I left, she said, 'Your labs are all normal.' Of course they are. It's the compounded medication she refused to prescribe.

The lack of care is on point..
I went in for a new patient appointment with Dr. Sohn seeking guidance for a healthier balance in my endocrine system. I had only seen 2 reviews for her online and they were both 1 star. I still made the appointment because the internet can be cruel and she had openings. I unfortunately stand with the one star reviews. She didn’t order labs or any testing, I just got the “eat 1200 calories or less and work out for 30 minutes each day moderate intensity”. No labs or tests were ordered. She didn’t go over my history or ask any questions. She looked at labs from 2022 and said you were negative for this. That was it. If you are in the market for a thorough, endocrinologist, look elsewhere. She is one new patient charge and bad review richer.

Poor Bedside Manner/Unprofessional
Dr Sohn was in a testy mood on the day of my appointment. She entered the room and threw my record onto her counter in an unprofessional manner. Yes, I had been struggling with my blood sugar, high sugars to low sugars. A doctor should be frank with a patient but in a professional manner. She should discuss options. This practice has had a consistent turnover of doctors in the past two years I have been with this office. You never get established with a doctor and the care has been inconsistent.
