Dr. Yezaz Ghouri, MD

I’ve been seeing him for several years. Has always been personable.He has always explained things thoroughly. Has a great bedside manner always friendly. I had a very scary situation with a bad scan he was very positive and reassuring till I could get scheduled for a new scan. It all turned out fine just like he said. Responds quickly with concerns.

Genuinely the worst doctor I have had the displeasure of meeting.

I started seeing Dr.Ghouri a few years ago after my then 17 year old J-pouch was constantly in pain. He has worked to determine what was going on, and how best to treat it. Dr. Ghouri listens to me, and has been compasionate and thourough in his office visits, and procedures. I can honestly say that I have recommended him to half a dozen people.

Dr. Ghouri is the best GI doc that I've had, simply because he's the first to actually take my opinion seriously. He was initially skeptical of an alternative treatment for my condition, but when I linked him a copy of the professional study showing its efficacy, he read it and changed his mind, and remains convinced years later. I can give him my full recommendation because he's been responsive to my needs. When I experienced some unpleasant side effects from my biologic medication, he prescribed a lower dose, and did so without the formality of a follow-up appointment, because he reviewed my other specialist's notes and confirmed that my symptoms were related to the biologic. He isn't perfect - no doctor is! - but his intellectual curiosity keeps him open-minded and relatable. I can only hope he stays that way, and doesn't let seniority - and positive reviews - go to his head!

I have seen Dr. Ghouri for several years now. He is my favorite doctor. He makes you feel like a person, not just another patient. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and wants you to help decide the best treatment that works for you without feeling rushed. His bedside manner is top notch. He is patient, funny, personable, and compassionate.

My child was hospitalized for several days due to receiving inadequate care and placed on unnecessary medications which put her body in a very fragile state. While in the hospital, Dr. Ghouri was on service and through the many people she saw and lack of trust she felt up to this point, he did something most others had not...he took the the time to "listen and talk." My child informed me "He just saved my life." To have someone stop and just listen and talk made an incredible impact on her situation.

Been seeing Dr. Ghouri for years. He is a great doctor that pays a lot of attention to details.

When I met Dr. Ghouri in 2019, he quickly discovered that I had been incorrectly diagnosed. He ordered more tests, got me the right diagnosis, right GI medication, and, subsequently, a better quality of life. Later, when I developed breast cancer, he worked closely with my oncologist to ensure that I could tolerate the side effects of chemo and other harsh treatments. Once, after a bad reaction to an anti-cancer drug, he even showed up and checked on me in the hospital, once again collaborating with my oncologist to keep me as comfortable as possible. Additionally, he is a compassionate communicator, always showing respect, conveying complex topics clearly, and responding to emails in a timely manner. I recommend him highly!

I started working with Dr. Ghouri about 6 years ago. He’s became more than my doctor, and I easily consider him a friend. I absolutely trust him personally, his judgement, and what he’s telling me to be in my best interest and customized to my needs. Dr. Ghouri does more than helps you, he advocates for you. He’s given me hope with my diagnosis and gives me encouragement that I will live a normal life. That characteristic is, unfortunately, rare in doctors and the reason why I stick with him. He’s truly great in everything he does!

Arrogant physician. Clinic set up was terrible, they placed me in a procedure room and he disregarded most of my statements and tried to force what he thought I had . Stay away if you can.
