Dr. Yeriko Santillan, MD

I went to Dr. Santillan for my yearly physical and had been having a lot of new health issues over the last year. Dr. Santillan clearly had not reviewed my chart before seeing me. I had a lot of symptoms and she googled each one of them in front of me, and did not seem to know much about them or what some of my medications were. Her approach is very non-proactive, and I had to request that several standard labs be done, to which she said that it was a good idea and then added them to the panel. She would not have ordered these labs had I not requested them. Her bedside manner was not great. She mentioned a couple of times that she needed to get to her next patient and didn't have time to listen to all of my symptoms, and made a passive comment about how i was bringing up too many issues. even though this was a yearly physical, she didnt complete the physical exam (yes, I'm going to have to make another appt), and rushed out saying another vague comment abt how I brought up too many issues. Several of the symptoms that I brought up could have been quickly and easily assessed in the office (they have been assessed by all of my previous GPs, in office) and she did not assess any of them.
