Dr. Yazan Abdullah, MD

Dr. Abdullah has always been an excellent physician. I’m really impressed with his new facility and the additional services he provides. Beautiful, clean with unique and welcoming designs, comfortable furniture and always friendly services. As always, I highly recommend Dr. Abdullah.

Dr. Abdullah is an incredible doctor, I cannot recommend him enough. I was referred to him when I moved to Newport Beach and he has been attentive, caring, and helpful at every appointment and follow up. His office staff, Jackson in particular, are extremely professional, kind, and quickly responsive to all my questions and concerns. I wish I could leave 10 stars instead of 5.

I am a new patient of Dr. Abdullah and am very pleased with how he takes his time to get to know you and understand your medical history. He is very patient, honest and provides you with all the right information to make informed decisions. I am very pleased with his services and highly recommend him.

My experience with Dr. Abdullah has been very positive. It's interesting reading some of the reviews. Yeah, Dr. Abdullah has had some turnover of staff during Covid times and the office was open/not open/who knows (although telemedicine worked just fine). But that doesn't have much to do with his actual work as a doctor. He's patient, listens, is responsive, and has been great for me. He also takes the time and tells me the stuff a lot of doctors avoid like how I can minimize medication if I lose weight and how I need to be wearing sunblock. Basic stuff, but too many doctors just write prescriptions to make patients go away instead of actually making them healthier.

I have been a patient of Dr. Abdullah's for several years and was happy until the new ofc mgr started. Don't know what happened but it seems now it is all about money and not the patient. I needed an okay for a prescription refill for minor cholesterol. Ofc mgr said I need to visit every three months to get a refill. I get an annual physical with bloodwork. I only visit the doctor if something else occurs between visits. I was last there about 7 months ago. Office manager said there would be no approval for refill without a visit. I asked to speak directly to the doctor. The office manager's exact quote was "the doctor has absolutely no interest in speaking to you about this matter; however if you'd like me to schedule you for a telemedicine appt. I'd be happy to do it." Looking at me or talking to me will not indicate what my cholesterol level is. Of course, there is a charge for the telemedicine appt. I don't need an appt. so often but ofc mgr said that's the way it is.

Dr. Abdullah is very accommodating and thoughtful. Always takes the time to speak to me honestly. And is available via text - super!

Front desk staff rude, unknowledgeable and unhelpful. Doctor refuses to let patients know if he accepts their insurance. Horrible experience. Avoid this doctor at all costs!
