courteous and professional
Dr Kirane replaced 2 knees and a hip for my father at Syracuse VA. He is courteous and highly professional. the relief my dad experiences from the surgeries were life saving. I would highly recommend Dr Kirane as an orthopedic surgeon

Right hip replacement
The surgery was a great success. Had no incision pain, rehab was very good. I couldn’t ask for a better team to take care of me at the VA hospital in Syracuse, NY. Dr Kirane was very instrumental in the success of the whole operation. Thank you for every thing you did to make my operation and recovery to be such a great success.. thank you.

Awesome Surgeon
I am leaving this review in order to help other patients in their search of orthopedic surgeons. Dr. Kirane and his team at the Syracuse VA Hospital were not only very professional, but went above and beyond before, during, and after both of my hip replacement surgeries this summer 2023. Not only did they diagnose that I didn't have any cartilage left in either hip, but I was able to schedule surgery within a relatively short amount of time. Within a few days the pain was virtually gone and after a dozen PT visits and some walking on my own following each surgery, I felt like I had my life back again. Dr. Kirane and his team were all personable, caring, and encouraging throughout. I can't say enough, except 'Thank you to all '

Life-Changing Surgery by a Life-Changing Surgeon
In the past 1.5 yrs, I've had bilateral hip replacement and Dr. Kirane performed both. With Dr. Kirane, both surgeries were totally positive experiences. I trusted him from the start, as he put me at ease immediately as he explained everything I could expect during the surgeries. I recommend Dr. Kirane to anyone facing similar surgical events. I am grateful for his competence and confidence-inspiring personality.
