Dr. Yaniv Chen, MDCM

Dr Chen and his outstanding staff deserve the highest recommendation possible. It was my first visit to his office and upon my arrival his staff made me forget my nervousness. They were outstanding from start to finish! Dr Chen was very patient and took his time with me explaining my condition. I would highly recommend him to everyone.

A PCP recommended him to us. After putting my parent on an infusion (very expensive) and expressing concerns of how susceptible they are to side effects, he was never accessible when problems happened! Multiple times my parent had bad side effects and wound up in the hospital twice. Each time we had to call the offices' infusion center and a caring nurse there helped track him down. At each of the hospital stays, he never went to visit and follow up. Hospital doctors could never get ahold of him either! One doctor found out Chen doesn't have privileges at Bridgeport Hospital which is SHOCKING considering this very page states as much! When we signed into our parents MyChart he functions off the Hartford system, not YALE. So where does he have privileges?The last consult with him was the most infuriating and condescending appointment by far! Absolutely belittling to the patient and family. Talking down and not at all listening to the questions and even get argumentative.

Alexandra was very knowledgeable and friendly. She spent extra amount of time with me. Answering my questions with answers that were easy to understand.

First time visit and it was a pleasant experience for an unpleasant reason! he was thorough and explained the prognosis. Definitely recommend!

I really liked Dr. Chen. He took his time with me to explain what he thought the problem was and did not rush our appointment. Very different from most doctors that I have been to in the past.

Dr. Chen was calming and attentive to my questions which I appreciated because I was concerned.

I would tell you if he ever showed up! 8 hours in the hospital with a 15yr old girl waiting for him. THEN, after 8 hours, told that he is too busy to come in. : /

What a physician should be. Caring, attentive and takes the time needed.

Dr Chen is a great listener and very thoughtful regarding all concerns. Feeling great thanks to Dr Chen. Really cant say enough good things about him and this practice. Wife and son also are patients with Migrane issues and they are extremely please with their treatment and patient approach.

I am a migrine suffer and Dr chan has been the only ‘one’ neurologist that actually found the primer medication for me ! . I naw have y life back ! It is worth traveling 2 hours to see Dr Chan. I am so grateful to have found a dr that was able to take the time and searching all other alternative approach to his terrible illness .
